RESEARCH
My goal is to improve animal and global health by integrating translational and basic science in control programs and informing policy. My research focuses on vector-borne diseases, namely African trypanosomosis. I integrate experimental, field and theoretical approaches to improve disease models and contribute to the implementation of novel interventions and strategies. I also develop species distribution models, robust data analyses pipelines and models on vector ecology and evolution.
